Return & Refund Policy


Uthhan store is catering to more than 50K plus artisans across India and all your purchase amount will go directly to the respective artisan families. Born in April 2012, Uthhan is a joint initiative between different artisan community organizations and GERG (Golden Era Royal Group) for the upliftment of financially weaker segments of skilled artisans across India. Uthhan will be the first initiative in India where the profit from sales goes directly to the respective skilled workers. Project eliminates the role of middlemen and other illegal financial exploitation which kept a monster sum of skilled workers in India in dark and never ending financial agony.

We will be happy to deliver you the best quality handicraft products. But we do have returns and refunds in unavoidable circumstances. Below are the pointers.

  1. Our policy lasts 5 ( Five ) days. If 5 ( Five ) days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  2. Products are returnable within the applicable return time ( 5 working days ), if you’ve received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from their description on the product detail pages on Uthhan Ecom.
  3. Damaged products to be reported within 24 hrs from the date of delivery for refund/replacement. No claims will be entertained for refund/replacement after 24 hrs.
  4. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, along with the purchase bill.
  5. Below Mentioned types of goods are exempt from being returned apart from damaged products :-
    1. Customised Handicraft Products
    2. Bulk products ( Products whose numbers are above 5 )
    3. Paintings.
  6. There are no partial refunds against purchase
  7. Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned.
  8. Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  9. All the refunds will be processed within 30 ( Thirty ) working days from the time of cancellation of order into the account confirmed by the customer via email at uthhanops123@gmail.com
  1. The Products can be cancelled only after the delivery of the product as per the return policy above.
  2. If You want the product to be returned,sign in to your Uthhan ecommerce account and chat with our team with the order details. You can email the request to uthhanops123@gmail.com. Then request for the return of your product with the reason of cancellation.The admin of uthhan.org will accept your request depending upon the reason for the product return.
  3. The cancelled product has to reach our office address to initiate the refund.The Office address is given below.
  4. The courier charges of the returned product will be borne by uthhan.org if the product is damaged or there is a change in specification. Moreover, customers have to inform the exact reason for their return to us via email or phone.
  5. The courier charges of the returned product won't be borne by Uthhan,if the product is damaged from the client side.
  6. If the product is as per the specification mentioned by the customer while placing the order uthhan.org won't do any refund
  7. Late or missing refunds (if applicable) -
  8. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially contacted by your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.   9. Sale items (if applicable) - Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
  10. Exchanges (if applicable) - We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at uthhanops123@gmail.com and send your item to:
