Founded in 2012, Uthhan (Uthhan.org) is the first initiative in India where revenue from artifact sales goes to the respective artisan families directly without any middlemen. Uthhan is displaying its handicraft items on the online shopping site called uthhanecom.gergstore.com ( For Indian Customers) and uthhanglobal.gergstore.com ( For Global Customers). The project is currently feeding 50k plus artisans in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Meghalaya through craft sales. Uthhan Charitable Trust is providing raw materials, tools, smartphones, laptops, medical consumables, and sales to economically downtrodden artisans and clusters through its campaign called " Karigar Apnao Sanskriti Bachao Abhiyaan( KASBA ) started in 2020. KASBA has supported more than 10K plus families from the date of inception.

Terms and conditions

1. Uthhan Craft Workshop ( UCW) " is an online/offline workshop organized by Uthhan Charitable Trust for craft awareness and artisan empowerment.
2. All the offline workshops are conducted in " Uthhan Originals experience center studio " in Om Niwas.79, 3rd cross, Doddakammanahalli, Central Excise Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076.
3. Registration is mandatory for online/offline craft workshops.
4. Offline workshops are conducted every Saturday & Sunday also.
5. Any changes in the day and time will be informed to you by email/ phone by the Uthhan team.
6. The registration fee for the workshop is Rs.500 ( Rupees Five Hundred only ) per day.
7. Uthhan Charitable Trust will issue a participation certificate on successfully completing the craft workshops.
8. The minimum duration of the craft workshop is 2 ( Two) days.
9. Our team will contact you once you finish the online registration for further processing.
10. Uthhan team will segregate the participants as per the craft segments chosen by them.
11. The details of craft trainers will be intimated prior to the craft workshop to the participants.
